i mean the powerleak nerf CAN only be a bug or brain dead nerf again, i mean -5 energy if u pay 10 and still at 12 recharge. Oo
about the rest idk, have to check this in gvg
edit: ehm, wandering eye and clumsiness should be now the same skill or am i wrong !?!?!?

well, they just nerfed power leak into uselessness.
the buffs to ranger and warrior selfheals kinda missed the mark. they need to activate faster, not heal more/longer.
overall pretty interesting.

I detect... WIN!
Avatar of Grenth is going to crush aegis chain like a steamroller cruising over a sippy cup. Sexy
The state of Party Healing went from Massive Fail to Massive Win.

Dunno with the buffed heal party options perhaps people wont even bother with SoR and just go Cruel spear instead for maasssive damage.

People stoppd running OoB because of the big health sac, and to a lesser extent other nerfs to that template. It has nothing to do with the fact that is a great energy engine, but it's just too risky on your backline.
With GoE buffed I don't see it seeing too much use on midlines either.

Okay so lets put things together:
- Pleak is nerfed, this was almost the only skill that could take down defensive webs to pressure.
- Defensive web did not get nerfed, on the contrary: it got buffed. Partygon got buffed (izzy i warn you, whener i'll see you i WILL brutally kill you for doing that).
- Due to the vod change, splitting become HIGHLY important. A big buff for sinsplit. Self heals got a marginal buff but it barely changed anything.
- Clumsiness got nerfed, so sineptitude isnt possible anymore. Sinsplit will need another midline.
In short, the ability to pressure got nerfed AGAIN. Splitting got buffed, and spike remains just as powerful meaning it is by far the most effective way of killing in an 8v8. So it's either split or spike. Gay.

Well, the buff of Grenth....GG Aegis, GG Guardian, GG Defensive Enchants.
And the nerf of Regeneration...well, at least there won´t be Terra Tankers in PvP anymore. Allelujah.
Pious....perhaps Anet realised their fail at buffing this skill..
Well, I´m seeing the Return of the Dark Aura, with those buffs to the saccing. And, with Masochism.. Infinite Energy, omfg.
And I agree, now Whirlind will be popular among Monks
Warrior....OMFGDEYBUFEDTHEIRCRAPYHELING!!1111
And well, I see the worry of Anet about Party Healing. Those buffs are only the start...

agreed, the energy cost of those selected nerco skills was never a problem. its the fact that they have too many sacrifice skills that sacrifice too much health. the risks still outweigh the rewards as long the sacrifice cost remains, especially maximum health sacrifice.

VoD changes ridiculous, won't last the week.
Necro Buffs absurd.
Healing buffs not too bad.
PLeak Dead. You might as well have deleted the skill.
Casting time on heal sig was where the problem was at. Still don't mind the heal buff there.
Whirlind at 5e will look scrumptuious on my Monk's bar.
I do however see some knockway builds coming down the pipeline.

Prehaps that would work, but would people really let go of Melandru. Besides that, you could have atleast given blockwebs a kick in the balls, for fun.

Hahaha, that does sound pretty fun...
I think Izzy wants to see how the changes to party healing effects the meta before changing the blockweb skills. If I recall correctly, that strategy appeared after LoD lost it's popularity, so better party healing may cause a natural shift away from blockwebs.
That, and I do think Grenth Dervs are going to start seeing play if, indeed, blockweb remains popular. And when that happens, I think better party healing, and better offense vs blockweb may be a one-two punch. But I could be wrong...

With party healing at an all time high and lots of good defensive and pressure reduction options on monks, people are going to start running alot more offensive builds because you dont need to cram so many defensive skills on a bar. To prevent this from killing split, the new Victory is Ours! buff was added; the question is if this buff is too overpowering. 40% dmg is ouch.
In short the monk backline is alot more solid, which results in much more build flexibility. GoE is insane now, so just about every eurospike build is going to be running a gale mesmer; probably with deep freeze on it's bar also.
You think this is going to lessen pressure? Hell no, with VoD and NPC advantage so scary people are going to build to kill, and things are gonna get interesting.
Thank you for finally killing this lame meta. Thank god its over, I see the light again.

A dervish does not put pressure at all. It's a spiking toon. It doesn't knockdown, doesn't deal nearly enough damage as a warrior (because of frenzy) and it gets totally owned by spiritbond.
Indeed it owns block, and therefore would be a nice addition into a "eurospike" or you can just run 2 mesmers with shatter enchantment like people did 15months ago.
And if i wanted to take care of aegis i'd take mirror not Grenth.
